A Mother’s Day Letter To Every Mama

A Mother's Day Letter to Mama

Sweet Mama, ❤

Today is a day to celebrate you ❤️

Leading up to today, I found myself thinking about each of you and what I wanted to say to you all on this very special day that honors motherhood.

I was thinking about all the different seasons of motherhood you represent.

For some, this day is full just like every day—little mouths to feed, runny noses to wipe, a little chaos, and the beautiful exhaustion that comes with raising young children. Today, you are likely serving rather than receiving because that is what we moms do.

For others, you’re walking alongside teens or grown children, learning to hold on and let go all at once. And some of you may not be with your children on this day, and that’s hard, and your heart hurts a little.

Some of you are grandmothers, learning how to step into this season with purpose and finding ways to pour into those you love in meaningful and lasting ways because you understand that time is fleeting.

And some are carrying quiet heartaches—missing your mom, a child you’ve lost, or navigating relationships that are broken or strained. My heart hurts for you on this day, and my prayers go out to you.

Wherever you find yourself today, I want you to know this:

  • You are seen.
  • You are needed.
  • You are treasured.
  • You are so very important to this world.

There’s a quote by Mother Teresa that says this,
“If you want to change the world, go home and love your family.”

And isn’t that exactly what you’re doing?

  • You are shaping hearts.
  • You are building a foundation.
  • You are striving for connection.
  • You are pouring into the next generation with love, intention, and faith.

How do I know? Because you’re here. And that tells me you care—you’re giving your all to be the best mama you can be, raising kind, loving, respectful children who know and love God.

The work you are doing—within the walls of your home, in the conversations around your table, in the quiet moments no one else sees—it matters more than you can imagine.

Because real change doesn’t start out in the world.

  • It begins in our homes…
  • In the way you love your children unconditionally.
  • The way you show up when you’re tired.
  • The way you are intentional throughout your day.
  • The way you love, teach, guide, connect, and NEVER give up.
  • The way you lift your children in prayer.

Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 31 that “her children rise up and call her blessed.” And while that may not always feel true in the everyday moments, your faithfulness is planting seeds that will grow in ways you may not yet see.

  • Even on the days that feel ordinary…
  • Even on the days when you’re worn down…
  • Even on the days that feel hard…
  • Even on the days you wonder if you’re making a difference…

YOU ARE!

So this Mother’s Day, I pray you feel celebrated—but even more than that, I pray you feel valued, uplifted, loved, and encouraged ❤

  • Encouraged to keep going.
  • Encouraged to keep loving hard.
  • Encouraged to trust that what you’re building in your home truly matters and is making a difference.
  • Encouraged because our God is faithful and “He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.” (Philippians 1:6)

You are shaping hearts.
You are creating a legacy.
You are making a difference—right where you are.

And that is something so remarkable ❤️

Kim
