Helping Christian Mamas Navigate Motherhood ✨INTENTIONAL MOTHERHOOD & HOME ✨ Course Link here👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

Intentional motherhood isn’t about getting it all Intentional motherhood isn’t about getting it all right.
It’s about remembering that the little choices we make today are helping shape both the people our children are becoming and the relationship we hope to have with them someday.
If we want a relationship built on love, respect, connection, and trust someday, we begin cultivating those things today—in the conversations, the boundaries, the apologies, the hugs after correction, the prayers, and all those seemingly ordinary moments.
Will we do it perfectly? Absolutely not.
But we can keep seeking God, keep showing up, and keep being intentional with the children He has entrusted to us.
Mama, the relationship you hope to have with your children 20 years from now is being built in the ordinary moments you’re sharing with them today.

What if we’ve gotten self-care a little wrong? I’ What if we’ve gotten self-care a little wrong?
I’m all for rest, coffee with a friend, a pedicure, or doing something that fills us back up. But maybe self-care isn’t really about putting ourselves first.
Maybe it’s about stewardship—caring for the body, mind, and life God has given us so we can faithfully love Him and love the people He’s placed in front of us.
Maybe instead of asking, “What do I deserve?” we ask:
“Lord, what do I need in this season to be faithful to what You’ve called me to?”
Sometimes the answer is rest. Sometimes it’s pouring out. Knowing the difference takes wisdom.

There’s just something about fall that makes home There’s just something about fall that makes home feel a little sweeter. 🍂🤎
The windows are open to that crisp autumn air, sweatshirts come out of the closet, football is playing in the background, and before long, there will be a fire crackling in the fireplace.
But maybe what I love most about this season is the way it seems to draw us back home.
Fall invites us to slow down, gather around the table, make a big pot of soup, watch the game together, light the candles, and linger a little longer with the people we love.
A warm and cozy home isn’t really about the pumpkins, blankets, or pretty fall decor—although I certainly love all of those things. 😉 It’s about creating a place where our people want to gather. A place that feels welcoming, peaceful, and safe. A place where memories are made in the simplest of moments.
So here’s to football weekends, cozy sweatshirts, fires in the fireplace, something yummy simmering on the stove, and a house full of the people we love.
Welcome home, fall. 🍁🏡🤎

There comes a point in your children’s lives when There comes a point in your children’s lives when bedtime looks very different. No more baths and jammies. No more bedtime stories or tucking them in. They’re older now—BUT that doesn’t mean they’ve outgrown the need for CONNECTION.
When my children became teenagers, saying goodnight was one small rhythm I didn’t want to let go of. Sometimes I went to their rooms. Sometimes they came looking for me. But there was almost always a hug, an I love you, and a moment to connect.
And Mama, don’t underestimate those moments.
Teenagers have a funny way of wanting to talk just when you’re ready to go to bed. 😂 When you can, stay for the conversation. Sometimes the least convenient moments are the ones when they finally let you into their world.
Connection may look different as they grow, but they still need it.
Keep making room for the conversations.
Keep giving the hugs.
Keep saying I love you.
And don’t stop saying goodnight.

Children learn more from observation than informat Children learn more from observation than information.
In other words…
Walk the talk.
Lead by example.
Practice what you preach.
Ephesians 4:1 “…walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love”
You won’t do it perfectly but you can do it with intention. Let the ordinary moments of your day be the ones where you shine, mama!

Routines aren’t about running a tight ship or maki Routines aren’t about running a tight ship or making sure everyone follows a perfect schedule.
They’re simply rhythms that help our homes function a little more smoothly—and give us something familiar to come back to when life gets off track.
Because it will. That’s real life.
A good routine doesn’t make you feel like you’ve failed when the day doesn’t go according to plan. It simply gives you a place to begin again.
And ultimately, that’s why I love routines.
Routines aren’t just helpful for Mama. They’re good for our children too.
When children know what to expect, it creates a sense of security. They know what mornings look like. They know what happens at bedtime. They begin to understand what’s expected of them and what comes next.
That predictability can bring a sense of calm to their hearts and to the atmosphere of our homes.
Routines don’t have to be rigid to be valuable. They can bend and change as our families and seasons change.
Start small. Find a rhythm that works for your family and your season. 🤍
The goal isn’t rigidity. It’s creating room for what matters most.

A good morning doesn’t have to be complicated. 🤍 A good morning doesn’t have to be complicated. 🤍
Sometimes it’s the smallest habits that help us feel a little more grounded and ready for the day ahead.
Nothing fancy. Nothing perfect. Just a few simple rhythms that say, Okay, let’s do this. ☕️
Small habits really can make a big difference.

What does your relationship with your child look l What does your relationship with your child look like in 20 years? Have you thought about that?
Intentional motherhood is accomplished in the ordinary every day moments of life…when you sit, walk, lie down, and get up.
Deuteronomy 6:6-7 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭6‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬
Leave perfection behind and lead with intention and do it in the ordinary moments of your day.
